Women’s March on NYC A Sincere Thank You!

Yesterday I was surrounded by positivity, empowerment, passion, support, and some AMAZING women. According to The New York Times, over 2.9 million people marched yesterday in solidarity with women–on all 7 continents. I have never been surrounded by so much love and pride in my entire life. Yesterday was a manifestation of hope and was a chance to show how far we’ve come and how unwilling we are to take steps in the wrong direction. The march was filled with strength from experiences of our past and strength in our dreams for the future. I promise you the future is still female.

Thank you to all the women in my life (mom, grandma, nonni, sister-in-law, teachers, my dearest friends, their moms–this is for you) for showing me compassion, teaching me how to bake, putting others before yourself, and proving that those aren’t qualities of weakness, but of overwhelming strength.

xoxo B
