IT’S TURTLENECK SZN! Leaves in New York are transforming into burnt orange, maroon, and subdued yellows. And I’m loving every minute of it. The air is no longer a sticky from the summer sun. The air is crisp. It is finally autumn (I think “autumn” sounds cooler than “fall”), which for my wardrobe, translates to TURTLENECK SZN. Will I ever say TURTLENECK SZN lowercase at a presumably softer volume? Probably not anytime soon. Last week, I got a package in the mail from my mom (thanks, mom) and it was filled with turtlenecks! Then I went out and bought two more because I think I’m addicted? I promise this is only the first post of many this season featuring me and my favorite neck-hugging pieces of cloth.
While my style has evolved and continues to change, I will never not feel comfortable and confident in a turtleneck and a leather jacket. And while my mother likes to point out the scarcity with which I actually wear color, here I am wearing red, arguably the best of all the colors. I opted to pair this look with black ripped jeans for simplicity and nonchalance. For shoes, I chose Gucci loafers whose red stripes tied together the red leather jacket.

P.S. Happy TURTLENECK SZN!
