Tucked away on the quiet street of Zborovská in Prague, Kofárna Café stole my heart. I came across the quaint café on Trip Advisor (a must-use for anyone traveling abroad). I was greeted first by a soft pink exterior and then by a local barista who assumed I spoke Czech (I was flattered, but I know about four words). I ordered an espresso (from Brazil) and found an open table amidst the minimalistic ambiance. The espresso was unbelievable. The wifi worked. I felt very much in my element. I was able to edit a couple blog posts, write in my journal, and people watch as locals gathered for a quick caffeine kick. The main street I turned off of in order to find this gem was packed with tourists, but about 50m off that street, any maps and running shoes disappeared and I was left with the serenity of a local spot.
My advice: use Trip Advisor and find spots a little off the beaten path. More to come soon. xoxo B
